So I've been in Georgia with the CGA program for two and a half weeks now, and it has been amazing! Here are some updates on what God has been up to!

First, let me introduce to you my new family, all of the CGA apprentices.

There are 27 apprentices, all alumni of the World Race or World Race Gap Year. They're all great, and I've become good friends with many of them. I'm living in a house with 5 of the men in this photo.

Next, let me tell you about WELCOME WEEK!

The first week we were down here, we went on a retreat. We all gave up our phones and computers, and we spent lots intentional time processing with the Lord and starting to build community as a group. During welcome week, Papa brought so much peace and closure for the last season of my life, and He gave me confidence in stepping into this next season.

The AWAKENING!

Sept. 22-25 there was a special conference here for all World Race or Gap Year alumni. It was a special time of being poured into by some incredible speakers and worship leaders!

CGA Class & Leadership Track

Since the Awakening, I've had class with the other apprentices every morning. We've talked about studying the Bible, goals, feedback, God's character, emotional health, and so much more.

Every Wednesday and Friday we split up into 3 tracks. I'm in Leadership track along with 13 other apprentices. So far, we've talked about servant leadership, leading by example, healthy communication, public speaking, and more. Leadership track has been extremely challenging so far, but the challenge is bringing about a lot of growth.

Life in Gainesville

Just today I got a part-time job at a YMCA after-school program. Starting next week, I'll be pouring into elementary-age kids four days a week. This is going to be a great opportunity for me to show Jesus to the kids I'll be working with.

When I'm not in class or job searching, I'm probably spending time with my friends from CGA. Just by doing life with them, a community is starting to form around me that I am so thankful for.

Tune in for more updates and more details next time! Thanks, friends.

-Drew
